Our SmartBase® do not require a box spring, in fact the added height is meant to replace the box spring and provide you with ample storage space using our "Smart" patented design.

When you place an order on Zinus.com, please allow 2 business days for us to process your order and 3-7 business days for your order to arrive at your doorstep. We ship to the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.

You can attach a headboard to all of the Zinus SmartBase® using the SmartBase® headboard brackets. A footboard is not applicable for this product.

Our Smartbase® collections are said to withstand up to 4400lbs, excluding the mattress weight. While we do have weight limits, they are just suggestions. We’ve read in product reviews that our beds have withstood much greater weights.

We expertly designed our Smartbase® collection to be no more than 55lbs in our largest model. This ensures that the frame is lightweight enough to move around but still durable for long term use. Easy assembly is always included with our Smartbase® therefore making it easy to disassemble and store as well.
