The Upholstered Metal Box Spring has the best of both worlds --a look that polishes off your bed and the strength and durability of a metal bed foundation. Crafted to look good enough so that you can forgo the bed skirt, it’s made tough on the inside with steel framework, and clean on the outside with woven grey fabric paneling. A set of wooden slats over the top complete the finish and supportive design so you can rest easy on a latex, memory foam or spring mattress.

All of our box springs come with pair perfectly with our Michelle compact bed frame (sold separately). Additionally you can pair with our box springs with our platform beds but they are not necessary as they come with their own slat support.

Yes! You can place any memory foam, hybrid, or spring mattress on a top on a Zinus box spring.

We do have weight limits, but they are just suggestions. We’ve read in product reviews that our beds have withstood much greater weights. Here are our guidelines:
TWIN - TWIN XL = 350 lbs
FULL - CAL KING = 700 lbs
ADJUSTABLE BASES = 650 lbs
Please be advised that these weight limits exclude the mattress weight.
